Chianciano Terme is well known and much appreciated since ancient times for the properties of its thermal waters. In fact Etruscans and Romans settled here also thanks to the hilly location and to the mild climate which still exists up to now. This small town, plunged into the green, full of history and art, rises in an area, away from the current frantic and stressing social context, offering the most valid holiday alternative.
Its fortunate location is rather unique and enviable, being it halfway from Rome and Florence, Siena and Orvieto, Perugia and Arezzo and very close to many other places of historical interest such as Chiusi, Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, the Abbeys of Farneta, Monte Oliveto Maggiore, S.Antimo, S.Galgano, and the Castles of Gargonza, Radicofani and Magione.
